I’m Malia, a freelance graphic designer & illustrator currently based in Mississippi. I’ve had over three years of experience working as a creative freelancer. Most recently, I decided to create a studio, Mon, to take my work a step further.

I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and a love for adventure. Exploring nature, experimenting with different mediums, and crafting in all forms fuel my passion for design.

Mon Studio is a reflection of this—its name is inspired by the phrase, "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." I’ve never been one to stick to a single path. Instead, I embrace the challenge of being a master of none—constantly learning, creating, and pushing boundaries in my work and in my life in countless ways.

This studio is built on the belief that creativity has no rules. The world is as big as you make it, and if you follow your heart, you can create and achieve anything. It is a place that embraces the hiccups of life, the messy sketches along the pathway that leads to the final product. Mon Studio is a space where exploration meets design, and where every idea has the freedom to grow.
